Though he retired in 2006, his legacy thrives, with the winery producing refined wines without owning vineyards, a testament to enduring partnerships.

Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery, aligned with Sonoma County’s initiative for 100% sustainable winegrowing, partners with 33 top vineyards in Sonoma County, emphasizing sustainable practices. As a Certified California Sustainable Winery since 2019, they focus on areas like water conservation, energy efficiency, and waste management. A significant sustainability milestone was achieved in 2020 with the installation of 355 solar panels, providing 93% of their annual power needs, showcasing their commitment to environmental stewardship and forward-thinking practices.
