Varietal Overview

Petit Verdot comes from France and is most famous as a blending grape, especially alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In California, including parts of Napa and Sonoma, you’ll sometimes see it bottled by itself. When you taste Petit Verdot, expect deep color, firm structure, and big flavor from the very first sip.
