Petite Sirah has a long history in California and is especially loved for its intensity and structure. You will often see it bottled on its own, though it is also used in blends to add color and strength. When you taste Petite Sirah, expect something dark, concentrated, and serious (but still very enjoyable if you like fuller reds).

Temperature: Serve around 60–65°F. Too warm can make it feel heavy, so a short chill helps.
Glass: Use a large red wine glass to give the aromas space to open up
Decanting: Decant for 30-60 minutes if possible. This softens the firm texture and helps everything come together
